In the summer of 2009 Jeremy was getting married. While his beautiful wife Jessica was hashing out wedding details, Jeremy started a blog combining his two passions; sports and Judaism. As a child Jeremy played sports religiously until religiosity took over his life. He played high school basketball in Chicago averaging 23 points a game his senior season. Sadly, his athletic career pretty much came to an end there so he began his quest to become a rabbi. In 2012 he was ordained as a Rabbi from the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he also received his Masters in Jewish Education. Currently, he is the Associate Rabbi at Temple of Aaron in St. Paul Minnesota. His passions include Chicago sports (White Sox, Bears, Bulls, Illini, and Hawks), the Conservative Movement (especially the educational branches JTS, Camp Ramah, Solomon Schechter, etc), and most importantly his wife and daughter. He also writes for Jewish Journal, TCJewFolk, and Oy Chicago.
