OUR TEAM

Jeremy Fine - Creator
In the summer of 2009 Jeremy was getting married. While his beautiful wife Jessica was hashing out wedding details, Jeremy started a blog combining his two passions; sports and Judaism. As a child Jeremy played sports religiously until religiosity took over his life. He played high school basketball in Chicago averaging 23 points a game his senior season. Sadly, his athletic career pretty much came to an end there so he began his quest to become a rabbi. Currently, he is in his final year of Rabbinical School at the Jewish Theological Seminary where he has already received his Masters in Jewish Education. He also writes for Jewish Journal and Oy Chicago.

Lauren Abraham - Correspondent
Lauren is a teacher at Rodeph Sholom in New York City. She originally hails from Dallas Texas where she is a huge Cowboys and Longhorns fan. After graduating college at UT she attended the University of Judaism where she got a Masters in Jewish Education. There she met her husband Troy Aikman...I mean Jeffrey Abraham.

Rabbi Erez Sherman - Correspondent
Son, brother, and husband of rabbis, Erez heard his calling as well and became ordained from the Jewish Theological Seminary. For many summers Erez worked at Jim Boeheim's basketball camp in Syracuse NY. He is currently a Rabbi in the Los Angeles area where I am sure his Orange Syracuse shirts fit in nicely.

Yuval Klein - Contributing Writer
After spending many hours watching American sports instead of sleeping, I decided to go out and chase my dreams. After doing my Israeli citizenship obligations (the military service), I moved to Houston where I'm a sophomore for sports management at the University of Houston (go Coogs!).
