I wrote Double Shabbat Shalom because I missed last week. It was my first week as a pulpit rabbi in Amsterdam New York. It was great but did not have time to write.
Lots covered over the last two weeks, especially in basketball. Farmar to the Nets and Frank to the Celtics. Also, Scheyer got hurt but hopefully can recover quickly and Cuban making noise about the big three in Miami.
It was also our 1 year anniversary. Thank you to everyone who reads the blog. Its been a lot of fun. Also, interviewing Dolph Schayes was an experience. Thank you to Rabbi Erez Sherman for helping me out.
Poll:
The Ike Davis story seemed to be the biggest hit of the year. I will do my best to reach out to him and get an interview. Meanwhile we have "I Wanna Be Like Ike" TShirts for sale on the side. I know for a fact his family loves them.
TGR News:
I will be honest it has been kind of slow over here because I have been so busy.
The one big thing is that we are going to our new format by adding labels at the top so that now you can search the blog by sport. I think it will add another dimension to the blog. It is still in the works, but if you click on MLB or NBA you will get a good sense of what I mean.
Also, I received an email from a family with the last name Rabbino. Big shout out to them.
Have a great Shabbat.
And Let Us Say...Amen.
